Canvassing Manager

Welcome to iPower Energy ground zero. As a Canvassing Manager, you will be the face and voice of our brand. Our brand image and messaging starts with you. Around town, you're known as the solar connect. Why? Because you connect and introduce homeowners to the environmental, and financial benefits of switching to solar together with our sales consultants. Using your natural ability to communicate, personalize every interaction, and overcome objections, you’ll be responsible for pre-qualifying, setting up in-home sales appointments and elevating the solar customer experience. We’re partnering with the community – and it all starts with you.

iPower Energy is building a marketing street team of independent Solar Canvassing Managers to build community, knock doors and set solar appointments! 



This is a commission only 1099 position


Our Canvassing Managers are compensated for booking appointments that translate into sales.


  • Part-time or Full-time

  • Base-pay + commission for every appointment you schedule and closed by a sales consultant

  • Our Canvass Managers make $3,750 - $7,500/month. That's only 5 to 10 appointments a month set by you and closed by a member of the sales team 

  • Ask about the $2000 New Hire Fire/iPower Production Bonus in the first 30 days!

  • Our Canvass Managers are the highest compensated Canvassers in California

  • Must have a valid drivers license

  • Age 18 or over and a US Citizen

  • English/ Spanish bilingual is a plus, but not required



  • Create meaningful connections through excellent communication, strategic thinking and the ability to personalize every interaction

  • As a Canvassing Manager, you will NOT be selling. It will be your responsibility to generate qualified leads that translate into appointments for the sales team

  • You will be working in the field the majority of the time, traveling door to door, engaging new customers, and building community

  • The primary objective in this role is to schedule quality appointments between homeowners and solar sales consultants

  • Manage leads using the canvassing software provided, to follow assigned routes, prospect new leads, and document the outcome of the conversations you have with homeowners


  • Ability to simply and effectively communicate the benefits of solar and real buyer experiences

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence people from all divere types of backgrounds

  • Highly organized and accountable

  • The ability to use your time productively and efficiently 

  • The ability to convert and transition warm leads into actual appointments

  • Can-do, positive attitude; personable and flexible to changing demands of the business

We help customers understand the difference between various solar products, and recommend a solution that best fits the customer's needs and goals. No one-trick pony show here, our customers get to choose from the best solar products the industry has to offer.
