Solar Sales Consultant

As a Solar Sales Consultant for iPower Energy, you will acquire new customers through self generating leads door to door, networking, and through referrals helping homeowners transition to clean solar panel energy to avoid the inevitable rise in electricity rates.



  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience

  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license

  • Proven track record of sales and/or lead generation experience

  • The ability to overcome objections and skillfully close sales

  • In-home and/or solar sales experience preferred

  • Be a great conversationalist

  • Hard working with a go-getter attitude

  • Professional and responsible

  • a CSLB License (or application pending) or able to obtain one



  • Source and self generate leads through door to door, networking, and through referrals 

  • Deliver compelling presentations that convert interested prospects into customers.

  • Take a consultative approach with customers and recommend a solution based on their needs and pain points

  • Build value around company solar products and services 

  • Manage your pipeline of opportunities and provide status reports on follow up actions 

  • Represent iPower Energy in an esteemed manner

  • Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and in-home appointments on time

  • Close deals



  • A full onboarding training 

  • Base + Uncapped commission + Bonus structure

  • Pay: $89,082.00 - $102,656.00 per year

  • Healthcare benefit allowance

  • Dental benefit allowance  

  • Monday to Friday 

  • Transportation available

  • 1099-contractor
